The Zoom uses a wide angle lens to bring the Kinect play space closer to the TV and make room for two players side-by-side in a space that would normally only fit one. The Zoom really is just a wide angle lens attachment that clips onto the face of the Kinect, shortening and widening the overall playing field picked up by the Kinect? camera. Simple, but effective.
Nyko claims the Zoom won? hinder the Kinect? accuracy in any way, making it an ideal choice for Kinect owners with cramped apartments and tiny dorm rooms. If you buy a Zoom on August 23, be careful with any and all arm flailing: you?e going to be standing a foot or two closer to the TV when these add-on lenses go to work.
